Deviously Flipping Youoff 2: devArt Interface Woes

Hello friends, enemies, and anime fans with weird fetishes I dare not repeat on daytime television. You may not remember me (I've been boycotting this site for more than a year now) but I remember you. And believe me, I wish I could forget. But I cant, just like trying to forget Powerpuff Girls Z. Seriously. I need to build a panic room just so I have somewhere that anime can't get me.

In this journal entry I plan to be even more controvertial than the last one by doing the only thing that will piss a devArter off (other than misattribution): badmouthing everyone. Even Beeflord was offended by the last one, and I don't plan on stopping.

The first order of business is to ask: How come _every_ cartoon I like has some creepy fangirl on this site with a fetish for it? Xiaolin Showdown? Check. Bobobo? Obviously. Billy and Mandy? Hrm... no check yet, but a quick search should find some sick, twisted fantasy of a 12-year-old valley girl. Seriously. Do you anime fans even like the cartoons, or just have a cute/cartoon fetish? I'm talking to you here. I wanna see you reply: Do you actually like the plot and/or storyline or do you just like sexually-ambiguous men. Or gay ones.

Now, this is Deviously Flipping Youoff 2 so I have to do some actual FLIPPING YOU OFF.

I feel a disturbance in the Force. As if a million Weekly Shonen Jump subscriptions screamed out in fear and then were suddently cancelled. Oh wait, it's just Naruto sucking as usual. You know, I don't have to like the anime everyone likes; and you don't have to like Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy and Weird Al. However, when Devart says that they're a breeding ground for new artists, they fail to mention that you have to actually SIFT through all that art to get to the good stuff. I'm suprised I even found Beefy on this thing.

Clearing out the message center is very hard. There's no "Trash everything" button, and the "Clear All" checkboxes don't work. I have about 1,108 journals right now, and I click the Clear All 1108 button and press Remove All. The journals disappar. I do the same with the polls, and it pops up a "You have more polls" message, prompting me to reload the message center. Fine. Reloaded and woo! 1,083 new Journals appear - Clear All just clears what's on the screen! This is suboptimal. I scuttle over to the devwatch tab in order to clear that out. At least that works. But seriously, is clearing out your messages in one click a subscriber-only feature? I never renewed mine, so I don't know. Eventually at 958 journals, the thing just doesn't load anymore of 'em, and says I have no new messages. Great. Now to clear out my 'friend' list.

Found the friendlist page. Apparantly, you have to watch someone to access the list. Dumb design. Oh well, at least i'm on the page. and... DANG look at all these n00bs. I really don't get why it's called a friendslist. Half the guys on this page I don't even know and probably only favorited over one piece of artwork. Some of them I just favorited because I liked their flippin icons. Not an optimal situation, but it's an ID-10-T error. At the end, I go down from about 50-75 "friends" to a core list of 8 true friends: Beeflord, Lustelle, Jark, Keiross, LegendaryFrog, Matt Wilson, Pagelord, and Uuklay. That _should mean_ no more inbox overloads like last time. Now to clean out yon free pass-em-out favorites. That's a whole 'nother article altogether.
