Seriously. I'm now no longer a Deviant. Sure, my profile says I have "deviations", but I don't call them that. That's insulting the art. I'm sure Deviant"ART" used to be cool, but them animefags creeped in and Snape killed Dumbledore -- I mean, $spyed sacked °jark. The amount of artistic talent is extremely low on deviant"ART", to the point where even the "daily deviations" have ended up to be either *messa's work, or weeaboo crap, which is the same thing. While it is true that the daily deviations have higher quality artwork than the other trash on the site, it's not in any way more enjoyable. If you don't like weeaboo anime fan crap, then you're out of sync with the rest of the Deviant"ART" community. Even Pixel Art is going down the tubes, because people have forgotten the definition of Pixel Art; hint it's not MSpaint drawings. It's drawings made meticulously, pixel by pixel, like how they are drawn in videogames. A good pixel art is drawn by hand; usually only with the pencil and bucket-fill tools; and is NOT antialiased.

Not to mention, there's still creepy fetishes. 14 year old girls with the hots for Jack Spicer, but not just Jack Spicer, but Jack Spicer in erotic poses, naked, with usually either Yugi, Danny Phantom, or --- I'm just going to stop proving Rule 34 right now. Again, Mature Content filter doesn't work when Mature Content flag isn't used. The mods and admins of deviant"ART" refuse to do any flagging; even daily deviations can (or used to) have incorrect Mature Content flags.

* No real benefit to subscribing; just a few shiny features that the horde of ~s don't get to use
* Mods and admins do not excercise any editorial control, even in obvious cases
* New site design reeks of Web 2.0
* Old site design was better
